About Us

My photo
In 1977 we hired our first narrowboat from Anglo Welsh at Market Harborough. From that moment our destiny was set. In 2006 we finally purchased our own brand new 57' narrowboat which we named 'Free Spirit'. Our aim is to travel the length and breadth of all the navigable rivers and canals of the UK. This will be our story as it unfolds.

Sea Life, Birmingham

So, where is the wind and rain that was promised for today. Met office got it wrong again!!! Next time we wont take any notice because instead of moving off as we had originally planned, we decided to stay put and ended up spending loads of money in the Sea life center. Although going round the aquariums was very enjoyable, the price charged was, in my opinion, exorbitant and misleading. On the Internet was one price but once inside you suddenly become aware that the price of £15 pp didn't include VAT. Then you realise that your £36 for two became very pricey.

Who's that then?

I could not agree with you more about how pricey the Sea life centre is. especially when we paid £16 each to travel on the Severn Valley railway, which included free entry into the Museum.
I do think that the price in Birmingham is way to hight for what they have there.
